The Fender booth at NAMM (NAtional Asssoc Music) Convention this year had my Dick Dale shots up as a big 3 foot poster and the Fender guys were nice enough to send me a pic of it since the time I got up there the booth was then closed. Thanks to Fender for thinking of me to do the job and thanks to Dick for being the musician that he is.

These are some shots from this years MUSIC CONVENTION show. i dont usually post any pics of me on htere but we had such a blast at this convention I thought Id release some of "the fun"!!!! Bootsy Collins was the pinnacle of the weekend fort me and of course the glamorous Mrs. BOOTSY and both of them were charming & accomodating . My galpal Antoinette is the one with the wild hair we had a photo shoot planned but it never happened. Then of course the 20 foot Elvis was pretty kewl. And thats me with rockker Lizzy Borden (guy with black hair) and the rest of the gals are my fave galpal gals. Great weekend in all.!!!!!!

MY HARDCOVER BOOK

Please know that we are designing the book at this time. My favorite designer MR HOWARD GRIGGS who has designed many past incarnations of my website, is working on designing the book. The book is slated to be a hardcover and will have one hundred and fifty six pages of my earlier work. Intros are written by Mamie Van Doren & John Gilmore. Keep your eyes peeled as it promises to be a great one. Only 2000 will be printed and the first 100 will be signed personally and will include a one off hand signed photograph inside of the book.

My last weekend visit to SIN CITY had a suprise. Miss Kate flew in from Boston to shoot with me so since Miss KAte was so "non-generic" looking, well why notpair her up with something very generic looking, which was what every tourist in Vegas likes to shoot ....the Vegas sign!!! Funny casue when we were there about ten people wanted Kate in front of their cameras which made it hard for us to comeplete our own photoshoot. But we did...and heres the results.....

Welcome the new art magazine Spattergasm.com. This has been an idea of mine for the last 5 years I jsut never found the right person to build it. Rayvene seems to be that right person. So with this in mind, I bought the domain and Rayvene synched it to her server and we are planning the website as we speak. It will be an art magazine of sorts and will profile :
A: famous artists
B: artists who are not yet famous but who are very talented.

THIS IS THE NEW SPATTERGASM COMING SOON PAGE THAT IS UP NOW....

There will be one profiled artist interview every two weeks. WE will be asking zany questions, deep questions, and hard questions in our interviews. Anthony Ausgang whose art is collected by Nicholas Cage among other notables will be our first interview. With alot more to come .

MISS MALICE IS A FIERCE BROAD

My friend Brian saw Malice , real name Alice, in traffic driving around in Portland Oregon. I told him to snag her for my camera if he could. So Malice ends up moving to LA right at the time we are trying to snag her for a shoot and Brian gets us together and then Malice rolls into the studio for a photo shoot with me and then the results end up Fierce as Fukk! Heres a few shots of the results so you can see just what I mean. I was able to place these in an international tattoo magazine with a :

ELVIRA RIDES AGAIN

After a long absence from television, Elvira is storming back
this fall with a new TV showcase. Tentatively titled "Elvira's
Movie Macabre," the new series will feature 26 two hour
horror films, hosted by the Mistress of the Dark herself.
The series will air on THIS! Television and in national
syndication through its distributor, Trifecta Entertainment.

"Elvira will be every bit as relevant as the first day she burst
onto the scene; a beautiful opinionated woman who always
delivers just what her audience expects from her," offered
Trifecta CEO, Hank Cohen. Elvira reached the peak of her
popularity in 1988 when Peterson starred and co-wrote the
feature film, "Elvira: Mistress of the Dark." The character
also spawned multiple comic book series, action figures,
trading cards, pinball machines, perfumes and even a wildly
popular Halloween costume.

Cassandra remains on board the new "Elvira's Movie
Macabre" series as both a writer and producer, in addition
to her title role. Ted Biaselli is also attached as a producer,
along with Executive Producer, Anita First.

"Elvira's Movie Macabre" will debut the weekend of
September 25.

The mag had an appearance of a covergirl that was a badass illustration of a Pirategirl and I thought why not do one in real girl terms! YOUNG GIRL GETS HER ROOM "JUSTI-FIED"

A young girl who is studying photography just had to have her room upscaled with some Justice Howard tattoo imagery so her mom contacted me and lo and behold her room was instantly transformed into her own art gallery . I got the images over to her mother as quick as I could as the daughter was coming home and mom wanted the art gallery to be done as a suprise for her. I tried my best to help her facilitate that for her and heres a pic of her daughters room that she sent me after the transformation had been completed.

Our favorite sex goddess & hair stylist and mother of 4 spunky gal April Thompson got published in PIN UP PERFECTION Magazine this month. April and I were the very first to do the "flag photo" as it was originally her idea and then she and I executed it with a flag she brought into the studio. Since then it has been recreated many times but never as well I dont think. The photo below is being saved for our next calendar and of course it will be July!!!

Check out the coffeetable that was made for me by my gal pal Allesandra. It is the coolest cofeetable ever. And how smart of her to put the logo of mine in the middle of the table. I dont have a very big house so it was imperative that my table be kinda small to fit the innards of my small house and this one totally does. Thanks Ali . This rocks and I totally dig it!!! Probably the coolest thing Ive gotten all year and from a great gal pal .

My friend ELVIRA called me yesterday to say she was bit by a Black Widow. At first I thought she was joking but apparently it was a real deal event. A Black Widow bite is no joke they have very bad toxins that are very painful. So out gal of the dark is better now and will be in great shape for Halloween and where would Halloween be without Elvira ? And no I did not take this photo ......keep tuned though .

Im going to put in on business cards really soon as soon as I have the graphics done. The second one was done by a Zap comics artist Spain Rodruiguez and is my fave of the lot. As that is a total recreation of my HArley Davidson which he did from memory after he had seen me whizzing down Mission Street in San Francisco one day. The last one is done by Naughty Ned Sonntag who does Betty Boops for Disney.

Jen X is my "rad-as-hell" neighbor and we came up with this idea to shoot her as Betty Boop. She actually REALLY looks like Betty Boop anyway so all we had to do was lock in the styling and then....voila! There was Betty, Boopin away! At any rate Im posting a few of my faves in here jsut so you guiys can peep them. i will add one thing here and that is that Jen X has the best underwear collection I have ever seen. JENN KULIK - NEW HAWTNESS ON THE BLOCK

Jenn Kulik is a gal I worked with recently and she needed to get some great shots to pursue her modeling career. So i set about to do just that. We worked together for about an hour and then I went to work to make them beautiful in computer. Well without much ado this is what we ended up with. Apparently after posting these on her model mayhem.com page, she got 5000 hits in one and a half days. She has also gotten offers from Penthouse, however we want her to hold out for better things as I think she has it in her, Dont you? So heres a pic of Jenn and I, with her hawtness and my eye and this is what we acheived. I think youll be seeing alot more of her in the coming months....

APRIL "MILITARY STYLE"

April Thompson is our rad ass hair stylist for the Diva Doll events. April does the great "Victory Rolls" and super Vargas girl pin up hair for the Diva Doll events. The well know shot of April wrapped in the flag is due to be on the 2011 Motorgirls calendar. Because April is married to a marine, i picked her to do the "military style" photos for Pin Up Perfection magazine. I just thought you might want to see what April and i got up to last Thursday and the second shot you see here, which is my fave of them all too, is going to be a tattoo very soon done by the well known Uncle Tim a tattooist from Hawaii. April is a great gal, a great FRIEND, a loyal friend, and a smart and amazing woman. Would you ever know to look at this hawtie that she actually has 4 kids!

Miss Angelica Nunez is one of THE most remarkable ladies ever to grace my camera film plane. Angie signed up for one of my Diva Doll events and came through the door looking shy and wearing glasses, the generic shrinking violet story. She went into makeup with Vera who did her hair and makeup for that day and when she walked out I asked her "who are you ?" because the transformation was so great I did not recognize the gal I had met only moments earlier. The gal I had met wearing the glasses was gone and here a new glamorous Angie had emerged like a velvet caterpillar. Angie is not your typical pinup model, she has three kids. She had never modeled before in her life. But let me tell you , she "BROUGHT IT" hard. Her photos were so incredible from her first shoot that we decided to do a 2nd shoot and get her a car feature in one of the better car mags. So we got the right car for the mag and lo and behold, Angie rocks it and locks it also jsut as hard on the second shoot. Prepare very soon to see Angie in an upcoming car feature. We sure hopes she locks the cover. I really think she will! As a matter of fact Angie has a great future in pin up modeling and when you look at these pics you will definitely see just why. . .

I have been fortunate to have had many magazine covers use my imagery. I have also been fortunate to have artsy, free spirited friends. These types of people tend to gravitate to tattoos, therefore alot of my friends are tattooed. CKD stands for Car Kulture Deluxe (Magazine) among hot rod and pin up enthusiasts. This months "CKD Gal" is our own Auburn Hills who has graced our Diva Dolls event with her beauty more than just a few times. Auburn was picked from 5 gals on our TIKI TORCH DIVA DOLL event to run as a full page in this smokin ass kewl hot rod & pin up magazine. Dave is the gracious host, bar owner and Tiki God afficianado of the Purple Orchid Tiki Bar in El Segundo Calif. Dave graciously let me and mah gurls roam the bar in lingerie and frilly undies for the day. The results are pictured here for your perusal. Thanks Dave for being a gracious host and super kewl guy and we look forward to seeing my Divas up on your walls very soon!
